(Note: a description of the political dialogue could include; The problem analysis, the historical path of proposed solutions, the historical failure of action by governments/intergovernmental processes, the proposed way forward, the statement of the peoples’ sustainability treaty,  and any other message that needs to be transmitted very strongly to all audiences including governments, UN agencies, civil society and people.)

(Note: Principles should clearly define the fundamental premises and foundations of the subject of the treaty. These principles should be able to provide the framework of the treaty and will propose key drivers for sustainability through the subject/area of concern)

(Action Plan is essentially the programme that the treaty circle envisions to reach the goals and objectives defined in the treaty – principles and commitments. It is important to understand that these commitments proposed are not for others to implement but for those endorsing the treaty to embrace and commit. Hence this becomes the key strategic part of follow-up)
